In 2019, Landon Carter decided after 25+ years of concrete and construction experience it was time to go out on his own. He was tired of watching (and working for) companies take advantage of customers by charging too much for inferior work. Sounds cheesy, but his integrity couldn't take it anymore. He jumped through all the hoops to get licensed as a general contractor and Lazer Construction, Inc. was created.
The name Lazer Construction is a tribute to Landon's late brother, Ryan Carter, who passed away in 2018 suddenly and tragically in a motorcycle accident. Ryan owned his own construction company for many years (named Razorz Construction).
Since inception, Lazer Construction, Inc. has not done a single piece of advertising, has not created any social media pages, and has not had a website. We have maintained a steady flow of projects and inquiries simply by word-of-mouth and referrals. This speaks volumes to the quality of our work and the overall satisfaction of our clients. A referral is the best compliment, after all.
We are making the decision to publish and maintain our website now because, well, it's 2025 and it's a little weird that we didn't have one. So, now we do! We'll do our best to make it interesting and informative, but if you have any suggestions for us as to content you'd like to see, we would love to hear your feedback.
Landon's experience in concrete and construction started at age 17. He has worked in no other industry his entire life. He has worked for large companies, small companies, huge companies, and family-owned companies. He has done all kinds of projects from Home Depots and Wal*Marts to small patios in residential backyards. In around August of 2024, he added metal building construction projects to our service list and since then we've done more of those than anything else. They're a very popular choice among folks looking to build in every type of area (e.g., industrial, residential, agricultural, commercial) and we've completed metal building structure projects in each of those zones all over Utah.
Here, you can browse photos and videos of projects we've recently completed.
